MIA
Turns out, that someone had somehow cut the cable outside of the house that runs to the pedestal (?) even though it's buried underground. Anyways, it'll take 7-14 days to have a contractor come out and bury a new line.
So it looks like I'll be MIA for awhile. I am working on posts at home and hope to come to Starbucks to post, but I can't promise anything...
Happy (late) Thanksgiving... Hope your Turkey Day was fabulous...
Until I post again! ;)

Make Up For Ever... In My Heart
Only at Sephora, Make Up For Ever's Aqua Eyes (eyeliner and shadow all in one) is sold for $17 per pencil.
Let's hear what the beauty gurus at Sephora have to say about this product:
A two-in-one eyeshadow and liner pencil.
What it does:
These waterproof eyeshadow and eye liner pencils contain a unique formula that adheres to the eyelids and resists water even under the most extreme conditions, without running or fading.
Size: 0.04 oz
And now let's hear what this self appointed beauty guru has to say:
I love these eyeliners! This is actually an eyeshadow and an eyeliner all in one. I have a tendency not to like eyeliners because they are hard to put on, but these roll on your eyes like butter! :)
I have several colors and all of them are quite delicious! I love the OL (I think it's actually zero 0L but not positive) which is the 'mat black' color. The 'pearly brown' color is quite nice, in the 2L. I'm also quite a believer in the 'shimmering plum' color aka 4L. I also love the 'light brown' aka 19L and the 'Burgundy' 18L. They have a total of 25 eyeliners and they are only $17 each at Sephora!
These are great eyeliners and stay on like the name says "Make Up For Ever"
I definitely rate these eyeliners as five out of five lipsticks! Have you tried these before? What do you think? What do you think of this review?

Lots of things to review! - updated
I just wanted to let you know that as much as your comments make my heart happy, and they do, I also will reply back to them as a comment. If there's a way to actually 'reply' back to a comment (like an email), I don't know how to do it. So for now, I'll just leave a comment back to you. So yes, I read your comments, and I LOVE to reply back (as a comment), so don't be afraid to hit me up with anything! :)
So I made a list tonight of facial moisturizers I wanted to review (3) and try & buy (2). I also made a list tonight of eye makeup I wanted to review: 4 eyeliners and 5 eyeshadows. I also made up a list of lip glosses (and only glosses are on this list) and that list came out to a total of seven!
When I do makeup reviews, I'll be doing them as I have been, with a certain shade and color in mind. It's not that I don't want to go and try all 37 lip gloss shades, I DO! But, for now, since I'm also talking about quality as well I'll go with the one shade I'm used to. Of course, I may also bring up other colors/shades I may like and have used personally...
I will never do a review on a product that I have NOT bought and tried at least 3 or 4 times (this is more for facial/skin/hair products.
I am also not paid to do these reviews which means I will not be sugar coating anything. If I don't like something, I'll let you know. If I love it, I'll let you know. The last thing I want you to feel is overwhelmed or that I'm trying to sell you something. I'm not. I've bought these different items before in the past or have them now and I just want to give you my opinion of them.
This is another fun creative outlet for me (besides jewelry and photography). So I want to have fun with it and when you comment on posts it makes my heart happy! :) So if you have any questions here on out, let me know. You can even leave anonymous comments if you want!
I want to be able to use my knowledge of beauty products, which I have gotten through trial and tribulation and not through retail experience or beauty school, to help you find a perfect shade of lip gloss (I love Bamboo Pink from Clinique!) or to find the perfect hypoallergenic waterproof mascara (my eyes love Bare Escentuals waterproof mascara!).
Whatever beauty problems or questions you have, you can comment. If you LOVE a product, let me know, I may have never tried it and would love to! If you disagree with my mascara views and think there is another one out there, let me know I'd love to try it! :)
So I'll start lots of reviewing tomorrow. My lists are up and by no means complete! There are a lot of products out there! :)
I'll also make (all) Monday's a Q & A post too. So if you have a question, I can answer it there. Along with any other questions from other readers that may arise. I've seen this done with fashion posts before so I decided to give it a try! :)
And here I am, ready for bed, with my Jelly on my lips and about to dream about blogposts of lip glosses, eyeshadows, and perfume! :)

Not much to say...
However, I am excited to let you know that I will be going in to Sephora tomorrow or Sunday to try out Too Faced's Shadow Insurance eye shadow primer. I might also try a lot of other things.
As I was perusing Sephora to give you the official name of Too Faced's eye shadow primer, I saw this and my jaw dropped. Yours will too. I want this for Christmas. Okay, I would want it anyways. Gorgeous. I want.
Have you ever seen anything as gorgeous as this 25 eye liner collection from Make Up For Ever (at Sephora)?! It's selling for a 'mere' $249 and it ships for free (I'd hope it would).
I just did the math - which let's be honest, I'm not good with numbers - but when it comes to make up, I'm Albert Einstein (he did math stuff right?).
Anyways, this set that I would love for a Christmas present (hint hint anyone someone) has all 25 FULL SIZED liners that Make Up For Ever carries in their Aqua Eyes eyeliner. Also, each normal just one a piece eyeliner sells for $17. Want to know what $17 multiplied by 25 is? It's $425. No really. If you were to buy each eyeliner at $17 a pop, the total would be $425 but if you get this set of full sized liners it's only $249.
How did they come up with this?! It's absolutely amazing! That's a $176 savings! :)
I haven't reviewed this eyeliner before, but I have been planning on it. It's my favorite liner pencil (and it also doubles as a shadow too!). And now I'm telling you to go get this $250 set of eyeliners for me (or get it for yourself, you won't regret it!).
Anyways, if this product is in Sephora, I will most likely, okay definitely be drooling like a baby over it.
The Sephora Firefox tab is now closed and I am sad. Very sad.
The End.
PS - I did NOT intend for this post to be this long. Thanks for hanging on til now! ;)

The One Product That Will Change Your Life FOREVER!
Do you wear make up? EVER? What about eyeshadow? Ever get annoyed that your eyeshadow doesn't last all day? Ever have it happen where you put your eye shadow on in such a spectacular way that you just want to keep it in time? But then, it fades away by 10am OR if it doesn't it creases like mad in the crease of the way and there's a ton of product there and all you want to do is crawl under your desk because how can there be so much eyeshadow in ONE place on my eye when I didn't put it there? Then please, please, PLEASE keep reading!
I have found the best most awesome product ever! And I do mean it. This will become a daily staple in your makeup box just like Chapstick or in my case, Vaseline. :)
Let me introduce you ladies to Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion for $17 (from Sephora):

Here's what the beauty gurus at Sephora have to say about this product:
Eyeshadow Primer Potion
What it is:
The industry standard for eyeshadow primer!
What it does:
Packaged in a precious, genie-like bottle, Eyeshadow Primer Potion is an ultra-sheer, totally nude eye base that glides on with the wave of a wand and then disappears instantly. It's the ultimate eye prep for smoother, more vibrant shadow and all-day wear, with absolutely no creasing. Now with a new and improved bent wand!
And here's what this beauty guru has to say:
I love this product. Betcha didn't know that, did you?! I actually have given this product as Christmas gifts to best friends (along with a certain Nars blush too). And they, have fallen in love with it as well.
The marketing and name for this product is ingenious and I totally fall for it. Genie bottle as the packaging and potion for the name. I'm in. But I also fell in love with the actual product.
Applying this to your (whole) eyelid before you put on eyeshadow will make your shadow stay on longer than ever (all day long!) and there will be NO creasing. Seriously. None.
What I do when I apply this product is smear it on the back of my hand, and then apply it to my eyelids. This makeup technique just helps me control how much of the primer I put on my lids and where.
They have two awesome shades, one the original, a sheer shade that won't be seen once put on the eyelid. The second shade, is called "Sin" and can actually be used as an eyeshadow as well since it's a shimmering champagne color. I'm not a fan of the "Sin" color but I have tried it and it does work as well as the original. I just happen to prefer the original shade. :)
I do have one qualm, and it's one that I can live with. I do NOT like the 'new and improved bent wand'! I used to be able to put the product right on my eyelids with the old wand and now I can't seem to be able to get the hang of it. But, like I said, a qualm I can live with.
This product definitely gets five out of five lipsticks (my rating system!).
Have you tried this product? Do you love as much as me? Maybe more? Have you tried this eyeshadow primer and not liked it? I would love to know! Feel free to comment! I'd love to hear your opinions! :)
What types of reviews would you like to see?
Also, I'm on the lookout for many items to review and I have a ton (and I mean A TON) of products on my list. My question to you, is what would you like to see reviewed? Is there a certain product you would like me to try and give an opinion on? Have any good beauty tips? Do you have a product review you would like to share? If so, email me at pricejessica@hotmail.com I would love to share them!

Jelly
Okay, if you are one of the 1% that may not know what Vaseline is or you love it, like I do, then it's safe to keep reading.j
But first, let me say that trying to find a photo and price for Vaseline was pretty much undoable (yes, that's a real word) from Target and Wal-Mart. Yes, that's right, they don't sell their Vaseline jars online, only in stores! Well, I did find it off of CVS but let me say that I love to buy my 97 cent Vaseline jar from Target in the travel section. 1.75 ounces goes a long way for less than a $1!
http://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/images/fs/large/521232600.jpg
Ugh, and now the photo I found, isn't working... grrrr.
Okay, so until I get a photo up of a Vaseline jar from my own very awesome photography skills, you'll just have to make do without one. May I suggest going to Target/CVS/WalMart/Giant/Kroger/what have you and look at one?!
On to my beauty guru review:
As much as I hate not being able to find a photo I can just drag onto my blog, I LOVE this stuff. True "Vaseline" is !00% white petroleum jelly. I have recently been using it as a lip balm. Truly LOVE it!
Of course, one of my other most favorite ways to use this magical solution, is to slather it on my feet (right before bedtime), put on some cotton socks and then go to sleep and let this petroleum jelly do it's job! You can also use it on dry or chapped skin. I've even used a little tiny bit of it to make my fly away hairs on my head to settle down! :)
Great for dry skin on elbows too!
Only qualm about this product, and it's not really one at all, is that you have to be careful when putting on the product on your elbows and then putting on a sweater because the Vaseline might just ruin the sweater. Not I like know this from experience or anything. Just be careful when you mix Vaseline and pretty clothes!
So what is your opinion on Vaseline?! In what other ways do you use Vaseline?! What do you think of this review? Helpful?!

Raves from the Red Carpet
So I've come across a make up palette that quenches my desire for all things make up related. Let me introduce you to LORAC's Red Carpet Reveal Eye and Cheek Palette for $35 from Sephora:
Pretty, isn't it?! Yes, oh so very pretty indeed! And what's even better is that it makes you pretty! :)
Let's hear what the the beauty gurus at Sephora have to say about this product:
Red Carpet Reveal Eye & Cheek Palette ($100 Value)
What it is:
A Sephora-exclusive eye and cheek palette.
What it does:
Go from daytime to glam time with LORAC's Red Carpet Reveal Palette! Beneath its ultrachic, velvet sleeve, the sexy-sleek gunmetal case offers a sneak peek of three color-coordinated eyeshadows and a blush made for instant Red Carpet drama. Using LORAC's exclusive dual-ended shadow/liner brush, the soft, luxurious eyeshadows glide on cashmere creamy for silky staying power. The blush adds the perfect pop of color to complete your star-powered look.
This set contains:
- Debut Eyeshadow (shimmering cream with gold pearl)
- Pose Eyeshadow (shimmering taupe)
- Interview Eyeshadow (shimmering dark brown)
- Main Attraction Blush (shimmering rose)
What it is formulated WITHOUT:
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Synthetic Fragrances
- Synthetic Dyes
- Petrochemicals
- Phthalates
As you already can tell, I love this color palette. I love the three eye shadows that work effortlessly from day until night and do not fail, smudge, or crease. With the sweep of a brush, if you want to go for a smoky eye, you can. Perfect for creating a day look (which is how I've been wearing these colors), it's also grand for wearing at night! For my day look, I've been putting the light shimmery color "Debut" right below my brow, the second color "Pose" I've been using right on my lids. The third darkest color, "Interview", I have been using to line my eyes and I also smudge it just a tad around the outer corner of my eyes.
The blush in this palette is just crazy beautiful! My only qualm about the blush, and it's a small one, but one that has to be talked about, is that you cannot put the blush straight from brush onto your cheeks without looking like a lady with too much blush on! I do put on some blushes without tapping the excess off, but this blush needs to have the excess tapped off because the color is beautiful but too much of it makes you look like a clown lady (or at least that's what I thought I looked like!).
My only other qualm about this palette and really, it's more of a personal preference but I would love it if it came with a lip gloss or stain. But like I said, that's my personal preference! I just feel if you have the cheeks and eyes down with beautiful colors, throw something in there for the lips too!
Overall, I give this color palette a five out of five lipsticks, which is my way of rating beauty products!
Have you tried this product? What is your opinion on it? What do you think of this review?
Colorful Lady
When I first posted this I did the math for 55 products in the palette at $22 even. I rechecked myself several times but I did not think that 40 cents was correct! Then, I opened up my 'Lucky' magazine and it confirmed (because they are truly makeup mavens and financial experts!) that EACH product - all 55 of them! - only costs 40 CENTS!
40 CENTS PER PRODUCT AND YOU HAVEN'T CHECKED OUT SEPHORA.COM????? YES, I'M YELLING AT YOU! AS WELL AS I SHOULD BE FOR THAT REASON! GO PICK THIS UP. PLEASE.
PS - thanks for listening err reading!
I love make up. I love buying make up more than anything else. A new shade of lipstick, eyeshadow or blush can change my mood and put me in higher spirits! What about you? Are these financial times holding ya down? Not shopping for the little things like an eyeshadow, that if you go high end could be anywhere from $18-$22? Or even if you go to Wal-Mart and after checking out their Revlon lipsticks you're thinking you definitely don't need to pay $6?
What if I told you can get ALL this, how much would you think it would be worth?
-- 36 eyeshadows
-- 12 lip glosses
-- 3 blushes
-- 1 bronzer
-- 3 applicator brushes
$60? What about $80? I could see someone paying even $115 for this much make up!
But what if I told you that you could get all this for only $22. That's right, $22. And not only that, but it is Sephora brand!
That's right! Sephora Brand Color Play Palette is only $22!
What the beauty gurus at Sephora say:
What it is:
An all-in-one ensemble of vibrant, wearable hues for eyes, face, and lips.
What it does:
Sephora Brand Color Play Palette is everything you need for a fun, flirty spring and summer look. This limited-edition assortment of shades offers 10,000 different combinations, so you can create the hot new look of your dreams at home or en voyage.
What this beauty guru says:
I love this palette because it is very easy to take along in a purse, cosmetic bag, or suitcase. It has so many colors to choose from so that you can go from a beachy day look to a sizzling night look. The most amazing thing about this palette is that it is a mere $22! Who could ask for more when we're in this recession and one is in need of new make up? Not much, I say, not much.
The size of this palette is not ideal but then again, it's not a 'compact'. It does offer up so many choices AND there is plenty of product to go around. Just because the price is low does not mean that you come up low on product. And if you don't believe me, just go by your local Sephora and check out their display palette and you'll see! :)
With so many eyeshadows, glosses, and blushes, this is one compact that will stand the test of summer of 2009!
What do you think of this review?
Are there any beauty products you think I should know about? Please feel free to share!
Champagne?
It's the most wonderful champagne I have ever come across (and I don't even drink anymore!). Until now. I've actually been indulging in 'champagne' since I first found it at Sephora on Saturday night and now it's a daily thing ;) Wondering what on earth I'm talking about? Okay, I'll share :)
Cue photo of "Hello Flawless" from Benefit! Oh right, that's my job. Here ya go. Photo from link over that way <-------
I LOVE this make up. I have been searching high and low for a foundation powder that I can enjoy and reap the benefits of for quite some time (pun not intended). And low and behold, I've found it!
What the beauty junkies at sephora.com have to say:
"Hello Flawless!" SPF 15
What it is:
A custom powder cover-up with SPF protection for the face.
What it does:
Benefit "Hello Flawless!" SPF 15 is a blendable powder foundation with SPF 15 that goes on beautifully sheer and layers easily for customized coverage. Find your perfect shade and sweep it on with the accompanying brush for a sheer, natural finish; or apply with the sponge for full coverage or spot cover-up.
Size: 0.25 oz
And now what this beauty junkie (me) has to say:My favorite foundation powder to date. I use the "Me, vain? Champagne" color. I bet you didn't see that one coming! I had a hard time deciding which one to use until I color coded myself and this one literally blended into my skin without even having to blend it in! A wonderfully silky smooth matte finish this stays on for hours.*
This set comes with a brush and a sponge and is meant to be buildable coverage. I use this foundation with my Bare Minerals brush because the brush in the set (it all fits down underneath the powder) is not that great. It's really small and is not good to use for all over face. Actually, it's not the best thing to use period. I do love the sponge however as the sponge helps build foundation coverage. I have used it very lightly and also put on copious amounts just to let you know what I think. I love that it stays silky smooth through each application and that it doesn't look like makeup. It just looks like beautiful skin.
Add a little bronzer on top, some mascara, lip gloss, and you're set to go!
*It stays on longer when used in conjunction with a foundation primer.
Now go indulge in your champagne color or glass of bubbly if you so desire!
Please let me know what you think of this review!
Heaven In a Jar
Let me first ask you a question. Have you ever had one of those days that you forgot to put on sunscreen (shhh I won't tell!) and then you burned?? Whether it be your face, chest, arms, feet, etc? Yeah, I thought so too. Well I had one of those days on Saturday. Put sunscreen on my face but FORGOT about all the other parts of my body. Good job, I know.
Well, when I was in Sephora, I was searching for a product that would take the burn and itch out of my increasingly annoying sunburn that was found on my chest and arms.
And voila! I found this!
Skyn Iceland Pure Cloud Cream with Biospheric Complex is just exactly what the doctor ordered.
Here is the little schpill from the amazing people at sephora.com:
What it is:
This light-as-air daily moisturizing cream helps provide hyper protection and healing relief for super-sensitive skin.
What it is formulated to do:
Formulated to rescue skin from external aggressors like harsh weather and provide comfort after dermatological procedures and surgeries, Pure Cloud Cream pampers and calms seriously stressed skin.
What else you need to know:
Fragrance-free and dye-free, Pure Cloud Cream offers intense hydration, helps relieve skin irritation and discomfort, and helps heal skin.
What it is formulated WITHOUT:
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Synthetic Fragrances
- Synthetic Dyes
- Petro-Chemicals
- Phthalates
- Triclosan
I started out using this cream on my arms and chest where I got burned and then at home, I tried it on my face. Pure Heaven. This would be a perfect cream to use after getting a facial and your skin is irritated. Calms everything right down! I love it. The pricetag ($75 a jar) is rather high but a little bit goes a long way when using this cream. And to let you in on a little secret (although it's not little and it's not a secret but whatever). Skyn Iceland makes all of their products in Iceland and when the glaciers melt they get all the yummy minerals and goodness and they put them in their products! How neato burrito is that? Yes I just used that phrase, please take a moment and get over it :)
After using this product on my sunburn since Saturday I can honestly report that it was healed by Tuesday morning with NO peeling. This amazing stuff in a jar is costly but definitely worth it. I also use this now as my night time moisturizer.
If you don't want to spend the money on something you have never tried just go into Sephora and ask one of the beauty consultants to make you a sample of this cream and they will! And then you will LOVE!
Let me know what you think of this product review!
KISS
Tonight, I am. The first beauty product I will review is from Sephora (gasp!) and it's a rather simple product. It's actually cotton pads. SIMPLE, right?!

From Sephora.com:
"ACE Duo Makeup Removal Pads
What it is:
A package of 100% cotton, disposable makeup removing pads for the face.
What it is formulated to do:
More powerful than water alone and gentler than a washcloth, these fluffy cotton pads help you effortlessly sweep away makeup. Each thick pad is designed with soft ridges, to remove even the toughest makeup without disintegrating. Can also be used to apply toner after cleansing, or with nail polish remover to takeoff a manicure."
I personally could just use the softer out of the two sides and I mainly use it for toning my skin and not removing makeup. Once you use these cotton pads, you will (if you are anything like me) never go back! What did you think of this review?!
